Dear Food Safers,

It is my pleasure to reach you through our new network channel “F⁴ST”monthly e-bulletin. F⁴ST is the first organized attempt to provide a fully integrated e-training program starting “from farm to table” including all necessary steps in the whole food chain. There are many specialists working in the area of food safety, but there are no professions or even a vocational training program covering all issues “from farm to table” whereas most of the food safety issues are interrelated with primary agricultural production, harvesting, logistics, storage and food manufacturing.

F⁴ST has been evaluated both by our National Agency and European Commission with the highest score within the context of Leonardo project.

It has a very strong partnership structure. Each partner country is responsible for different training modules. 1500 trainees will be trained and certified within two years of project time for free.

As food safety professionals, what we need is a better integrated view point and F⁴ST program’s aim is to fill in this gap. I would like to take this opportunity to wish a great success to the project and hope that this training program will provide us with a platform where we can build a healthier future for the next generations.
