Although it has been only 3 months after the kick-off meeting, F4ST had been entitled in national newspapers such as Aksam, Vatan and Dunya and also magazines such as Celebi, Dunya Gida and Kimya Teknolojileri. Project was acquainted by several national and international websites.

Until today, there have been c.a. 300 applicants from Turkey who are willing to take part in this program.

F4ST Partners completed status determination for the Food Safety Education, identification of current training needs and new qualification for the 3rd work package.

Outlines for the modules of Introduction to Food Safety, Food Chemistry, Food Microbiology, Physical and Other Biological Agents, Primary Animal Production and HACCP were created in scope of 4th work package – Development of F4ST modules.
The European Commission has today adopted new implementing legislation setting maximum levels for the sum of dioxins and PCBs in food and feed.
Due to lack of sufficient data and scientific information no levels were set for dioxin-like PCBs.
