The profiles of 863 trainees registered to 1 st session (start on 18 April and finish on 18 August), their progression in the modules, accomplishment in the exams, the evaluation forms and their comments were evaluated with the participation of all partner institutes.

The distribution of trainees in 1 st session is given below:

When the distribution of trainees among their professions is analyzed, the higher percentage belongs to Food Scientist & Technologists. For 2 nd session, the participation of other professions such as Agriculturists, Chemists, Biologists and/or Fisheries would be welcomed.

In F 4ST training, there are optional slides that their content are exempted from exams but they are included for trainees who would like to have further knowledge on specific issues in the lectures. You can find the average time spent by trainees in each module in the graph below. It is seen that, trainees have not disregarded the optional slides and spare some of their training time on them.

 


F 4ST training has 2 types of certification: Certificate of Completion and Certificate of Participation. To be able to gain a “Certificate of Completion”, an average grade of 70 must be taken from all modules. The averages of exam results for 1 st session so far are given below:

In F 4ST training, for each module there are evaluation forms which contain 8 questions. The questions are:

  • Do you feel there should be a prerequisite for this module concerning the knowledge level?
  • I found the level of this module difficult
  • I found the module content clear and coherent
  • I found the questions in module completion test were difficult
  • I was satisfied with the amount of material covered under this module
  • I was satisfied with the quality of slides and text
  • I was satisfied with the usefulness of slides and text
  • Overall this  module has met my expectations and stimulated my interest in this subject
